Nutrition Unplugged is a personal blog written solely by me, Janet Helm. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely my own. You’ll occasionally see sponsored posts, but those are rare — and they will be clearly identified (such as free products or compensation). I also accept forms of advertising, but only from companies or products that I use and believe in. If I don’t like it, you won’t see it here (or I’ll tell you why I don’t like it.
The compensation received will never influence the content, topics or posts made on Nutrition Unplugged. All advertising is in the form of ads generated by a third party ad network. Those ads will be identified as paid advertisements.
If I write about a specific food product, it’s because I had a positive experience. I will only endorse products or services that I believe in — based on my expertise and personal opinion.
I do not participate in link exchanges or guest posts to promote a product (so please don’t request it) and I do not do giveaways on my blog. If I accept free products or books to review, I will let you know they were sent to me at no cost.
Your trust is important to me and I would not squander it for any amount.
Outside of blogging, I make my living as a nutrition communications consultant. However, I do not write about any of my food or beverage clients. If there’s a topic that’s relevant to a client, I will clearly identify as #client. Although I am not compensated for any content related to my clients.
I’m proud to have pledged my support for ethical blogging at RDs4Disclosure, which was created by Regan Jones.
